Terms of Service

My Polished Resume is a free suite of AI-powered tools for job seekers — CV polishing, job-specific tailoring, cover letter generation, application email writing, LinkedIn About generation, and a CV scoring/audit tool. By using My Polished Resume you agree to these terms.

My Polished Resume is currently in free beta. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, change features, or discontinue the service at any time. We'll aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible. If we ever introduce paid features, the basic tools will remain free during beta.

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide, including your CV content and any job description you submit.
• You confirm you have the right to share any CV or job description you submit (e.g. it's yours, or you have permission to share it).
• You must not submit content that is defamatory, unlawful, or that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that disrupts other users or the underlying providers.

The content produced by our tools is generated by AI. We design our prompts to keep the output truthful to your actual experience and free of generic templated language — but AI can still make mistakes, miss context, or phrase something in a way you wouldn't. Read every word of any document we produce before you send it to an employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit based on our output.

My Polished Resume produces documents designed to present your existing experience clearly and professionally. We make no guarantee that using our service will result in employment, interview invitations, or any other outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control — the role, the market, how you actually present yourself in interview.

The documents generated are based on your own content. You retain full ownership of your CV and any other documents produced for you. My Polished Resume claims no rights over them.

The My Polished Resume name, branding, and software are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Polished Resume is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including errors in generated documents, delivery failures, service downtime, or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

My Polished Resume relies on third-party services to operate: Anthropic for AI processing, Resend for email delivery (when requested), Vercel for hosting, Upstash for rate-limiting. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of those services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to data they process. See our Privacy Policy for details.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
