About the service
My Polished Resume is a free tool that helps job seekers tailor their CV and generate a cover letter to match a specific job description. By using My Polished Resume you agree to these terms.
Free beta
My Polished Resume is currently in free beta. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, change features, or discontinue the service at any time. We will aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide, including your CV content and any job description you submit.
- You must not submit content that is defamatory, unlawful, or that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that disrupts other users.
No employment guarantee
My Polished Resume generates documents designed to improve your chances of securing an interview. We make no guarantee that using our service will result in employment, interview invitations, or any other outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
Intellectual property
The documents generated are based on your own content. You retain full ownership of your CV and cover letter. My Polished Resume claims no rights over the documents produced for you.
The My Polished Resume name, branding, and software are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Polished Resume is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including errors in generated documents, delivery failures, or service downtime.
Third-party services
My Polished Resume uses third-party services (Anthropic for AI processing, Resend for email delivery). We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of those services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to data they process.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
